The firm represented a major surety in an indemnity action against its bond principal for expenses incurred by the surety from a construction defect claim by the owner of the project.  At the trial level, the court dismissed the surety's claim for indemnity against the principal.  The firm appealed to the Mississippi Supreme Court, which overturned the trial court's holding against the surety.  After the holding was overturned, the firm successfully brought a motion for summary judgment that resulted in a $475,000 judgment against the principal.
